 | Low-resistance antireflection ITO coatings |
New very low resistance multilayer anti-reflection coatings based on ITO layers
has been successfully developed in Izovac. The coatings are characterized with
specific resistance ranging from 5 Ω/ࡎ to 20 Ω/ࡎ and
total coating thickness ranging from 1800A to 980A. The developed coatings
have maximum transmittance of not less than 82 - 93% depending on the type of
the coating.
The newly designed coatings can be successfully incorporated into the following
imaging displays:
- Liquid crystal displays, OLED, PLED and other types of displays - as a
conductive bus;
- Various data protection devices for the prevention of the unauthorized
information readout from the monitor screens;
- Various EMI shielding devices where presence of the low resistivity together
with high optical characteristics is required.
Multiple tests and research activities resulted in the impressive breakthrough
in managing the substrate’s temperature during deposition process. As soon as
the temperature of the substrate does not exceed 30°C (85°F), the new coatings
can be applied on the plastic substrate without introducing any adverse and
irreversible effects to its structure and shape.
All coatings were obtained on the vacuum deposition equipment produced by Izovac
and can be adjusted to the individual customer’s specifications.
Transmittance and reflectance curves of the new coatings are shown below.
