Izovac calculates all types of optical films. These are
classical types of films:
- Anti-reflecting coating;
- Reflecting coating;
- Filtering coating;
- Spectral-dividing coating based on dielectric and absorbing thin film
materials.
Substrate materials can be both absorbing or not. According to given
formula of optical coating Izovac specialists can calculate optical
characteristics: transmission, reflection, absorption, and also polarization and
phase parameters.
Available software provides opportunity to calculate the above parameters in case
of different light angles (0° – 90°). Another distinctive feature of our software is the reproduction of optical control during the process. The analysis of dR/dt
and dR/dn allows us to achieve stability of layer structure and to choose the most
technologically perfect design.
The calculating software offers the possibility to optimize layer structure
according to pre-set parameters of reflection or transmission, and to develop
the coating formula according to the required parameters and sputtering
materials.
If one requests optical calculations, one would need
to prepare the following data for desired type of coating:
- Required spectral characteristics (Rλ, Tλ, Aλ, RS, RP, TS,
TP)
- Type of substrate and characteristics of second boundary medium
- Desired layer materials or layer parameters nλ, kλ
- Light angle
- Deposition technique
- Additional requirements: scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, coating
adhesion, application conditions
